**Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity**

The Infrastructure and Investment Group (IIG) enhances the health and disability system by leading health investments through planning, prioritising, delivering, and monitoring health infrastructure projects.

The IIG manages this responsibility through several functions, including asset management, investment planning, facility design, programme and project management, service planning, and monitoring and assurance.

The primary purpose of the role is to support two, Tier 3 executives, and provide a range of high-level and secretariat support services. You will assist the Head of Infrastructure Planning & Investment, and the Head of Infrastructure Commercial & Procurement and help them with the complexities of their roles, to achieve the objectives of their Infrastructure and Investment functions.

Note: Preference will be given to employees of Health NZ and Te Aka Whai Ora.

**Mōu | About you**

You will be an experienced Executive Assistant that will bring extensive knowledge and expertise, while holding the wisdom and mana associated with this kind of role.

As a business support professional, you will have an exemplary understanding of medium to large organisations; in addition to the legislative frameworks that effect the health sector.

You will enjoy solving complex problems and excel in a ‘behind-the-scenes' supporting role.

To be successful you must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, juggle priorities, work cross-culturally, and be someone that naturally enjoys an environment and role that is constantly changing.

**Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills and experience**
- Previous experience in an Executive Assistant role providing support to Group Manager/s and their team/s
- Strong communication skills to ensure delivery of clear messages
- Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills and the capacity to manage relationships at all levels, including with senior officials and with health sector leaders
- Adept at good decision making, using initiative and strong organisational skills
