**About the job**:
We’re looking for an experienced Contract Manager, to foster profitability and sustainable growth, in our Stormwater area. You will achieve strategic objectives - such as growth, innovation, efficiency and excellence through an alignment with Citycare Waters Values, by ensuring projects are executed efficiently.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Health and safety, profitability and management of financial performance and customer relationships within Citycare Water
- Ensuring consistent and relevant support systems are in place and successfully operating for profitability and sustainability of the contract, maximising revenue and promoting innovation and growth
- Involvement in tendering and assisting the division to achieve targets identified in the strategic plan.
- Actively encouraging continuous improvements in service, productivity and efficiency for the mutual benefit of the client and Citycare Water.
- Promoting and maintaining a culture that achieves a high level of morale within the group and encourages performance, productivity, openness, employee satisfaction and trust
- Promote the image of Citycare Water by encouraging staff to create and provide good customer relations and customer focused service.
- Review and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
**What you’ll need**:
- Appropriate management or technical qualifications preferably at tertiary level, NZCE Civil or equivalent
- Strong service and client relationship building experience
- Extensive technical and practical experience in relevant contracts (5 years minimum)
- Contract Management (5 years minimum)
- Financial, marketing, negotiating, strategic planning and change management skills.
- Sound commitment to HSE, quality assurance and environmental management
- Self-motivated, action oriented and driven towards commercial success.
- Proven ability to lead, manage, motivate, and improve performance
- Strong communication capability (written and verbal)
- Your passion for operational efficiency, an alignment with Citycare Water’s values and a commitment to upholding Te Mana O te Wai will allow you to be successful in this role._
