**Position: Area Manager/Operations Manager**

**About Us**: We are Fast Cash Pawnbrokers, a New Zealand-owned company with over 20 years in the Pawnbroking business. We operate four stores in Auckland - Papakura, Glen Innes, Mangere, Manurewa. Our team is dedicated to providing exceptional customer service and finding the best bargains for our clients.

**Role Overview**: We are looking for an Area Manager/Operations Manager who will oversee our stores & team of store managers, work closely in-store to ensure smooth operations and exceptional service. This role includes being in charge of rosters, recruiting, and policy implementation. This is a hands-on customer facing role where no day will be the same.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage and oversee the performance of store managers across all locations.
- Ensure operational excellence and consistency across all stores.
- Work closely with store managers to implement strategies and improve processes.
- Develop and execute plans to drive sales, increase loans and improve customer satisfaction.
- Train and mentor store managers and staff to enhance their skills and performance.
- Analyse store performance data and provide actionable insights to improve results.
- Manage staff rosters to ensure adequate coverage and efficiency.
- Oversee recruiting efforts to attract and retain top talent.
- Implement and enforce company policies and procedures.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in retail management, preferably in a multi-store environment.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- A positive attitude and the ability to motivate and inspire others.
- Flexibility to travel between store locations as needed.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
