We are on the lookout for a permanent Internal Technical Sales Representative to join this passionate and customer focussed team based in Penrose. This role will suit someone who has been in a trade’s role/has a mechanical brain and is looking for the next step in their career.

**About the role - Atu mo te mahi**
You will be responsible for the promotion and growth of sales by proactively providing solutions, services, and products to both internal and external stakeholders. In addition to creating a superior customer experience, develop long -term trusted relationships and ensure full dedication by putting customer needs first.

**Key tasks and accountabilities**:

- Proactively promote sales across a dedicated portfolio of potential/existing customers
- Provide accurate quotations to customers with quotation follow-ups within a timely manner
- Manage/process all inbound/outbound enquiries from new and existing customers and capture new opportunities
- Support customers with mechanical technical assistance through the guidance of the technical manager
- Liaise and collaborate with key account managers and the wider business
- Capture, track and manage new and existing customer relationships & commercial activitiesMaintain knowledge of products and services
- Create brand awareness, convert opportunities, and expand the organisations NZ customer base
- Participate in ongoing training and monthly meetings as directed by management

**About you - Pehea koe**
- Knowledge of using ERP systems/SAP would be advantageous
- Strong proven experience in mechanical/trade sales & customer service
- Trades/Industrial background would be advantageous
- Excellent time management skills, with proven ability to set/handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Methodical and remains calm under pressure
- Strong attention to detail/computer literacy and accuracy
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential (written & verbal)
- Ability to work co-operatively and effectively as part of a team and autonomously
