This employer is looking for **confident, outgoing and reliable students**to join their growing door to door team in **Auckland** Our company has been outsourced for sales by a major telecommunications/ broadband provider, your role will essentially be to go door to door to try sign up new customers by asking them about their current internet provider / speed and connection.

**However the role is much more varied than that, and will involve the following**:

- Knock on prescribed doors ,build rapport and gain knowledge in the product.
- Talking to customers to identify research and resolve customer issues using the computer.
- Assisting customers with technical set up, such as setting up mobile phones and internet.
- Provisioning Broadband, Voice, Mobile, IP services to new residential customers.
- Cold Calling, focusing on customer sales and reviewing existing client’s telecommunications needs.
- Sales of telecommunication and internet products and services.
- Up selling of product range, special and promotions.
- Use the ICT resources of the company in the way and are not wasted.
- Understand the requirements of the customers for hardware and software.
- Make sure the customers are happy and meet their requirements.

**Key skills & requirements**:

- Understanding of mobile phone technology and ability to explain this information to customer in order to secure potential issues.
- Understanding **how to position highly technical information in a manner that is understandable to the customer.**
- Ability to retain sound product knowledge of broadband plans, calling features, ISDN Lines, Gateway and promotion pricing plans and new products.
- ** Ability to communicate clear and concise information to customers** regarding terms and conditions changes and services.

While the technical requirements listed above are highly desirable, we can provide training if you are not well versed in this area but but have the** right personality and attitude for sales.**

We have full and part time positions available starting **ASAP**, with a base rate of **24 an hour,** flexible working hours and we will provide pick and drop off for door knocking locations in Auckland, so you do not need your own transport
