Are you ready to make your mark in a role that combines technical expertise with collaboration? As our Finance Systems Specialist, you’ll be at the heart of optimising and supporting our financial systems, ensuring they empower our teams and deliver on our mission.

You will:

- Be a trusted advisor for our financial systems, including TechnologyOne.
- Identify and implement innovative solutions to improve efficiency.
- Provide training and support to help teams unlock the full potential of our systems.
- Ensure compliance and data integrity in financial operations.
- Collaborate on transformative projects that drive continuous improvement.
- This role is about more than just systems—it’s about creating solutions that make a real difference.

We’re looking for someone who is:

- Naturally curious, with a passion for problem-solving and process improvement.
- Skilled in financial systems, ideally with experience in TechnologyOne.
- A strong communicator with exceptional relationship-building skills.
- Proficient in Excel and adept at analysing and managing data.
- PowerBI experience desirable.
- Positive and solutions-focused, ready to embrace challenges with enthusiasm.

Toi Moana Bay of Plenty Regional Council is responsible for land, air and water as well as public transport and economic development. A major focus of our work involves looking after the environment. We manage the effects of people's use of freshwater, land, air and coastal water.
