As a Customer Experience Designer at Kiwibank, you’ll be part of a cross-functional team dedicated to designing and improving experiences that make a real difference for our customers. Using research and insights, you’ll turn complex problems into simple, human-centred solutions — shaping propositions, services, journeys, and touchpoints that align with our brand, purpose, and strategy. You’ll contribute across the full design lifecycle, from discovery to delivery, mapping journeys, co-designing with customers and stakeholders, prototyping new concepts, and identifying and prioritising opportunities that matter. Working closely with other designers and teams, you’ll help measure and enhance experiences to ensure we’re always putting the customer at the heart of what we do.

We will help you build on your strengths and develop new skills, but in the meantime, we would love to hear from you if you have some of the following:

- 4+ years of experience in CX or service design roles
- A curious, empathetic mindset with strong analytical and creative thinking skills
- Familiarity with design research, journey mapping, and service blueprints
- Excellent storytelling and collaboration skills
- Experience in banking/financial services is a bonus, but not required

You don’t need to tick every box to be considered Above all we’re looking for an accomplished CX practitioner with a passion for human-centred design and a knack for solving complex challenges. You’ll thrive in collaborative environments and are comfortable working in ambiguity. Your toolkit includes service blueprints, journey maps, research participation, and co-design facilitation.
