**Te kāinga rua | The opportunity**

Come join one of Aotearoa New Zealand’s’ largest Sustainability Advisory teams with broad multiple discipline expertise delivering impactful decarbonisation and Just Transition projects, throughout New Zealand. Our client projects are broad, including using greenhouse gas accounting standards, as a foundation to helping our clients reduce their emissions.

At Beca you will have the opportunity to make a difference to clients’ sustainability, decarbonisation and climate change related challenges. You will be working as part of a respected practice focused on supporting clients at various stages of their sustainability journey, from strategy and policy development, implementation plans and business integration, through to project level leadership. You will have the scope to learn from leading sustainability experts, as well as utilising the breadth of Beca digital, design, engineering and related specialists, passionate on solving complex decarbonisation and sustainability challenges. You will also be part of a highly collaborative team based throughout New Zealand and beyond, who are passionate about supporting your ongoing development across the sustainability discipline.

**Te rongoā | About you**

Ideally your skills and experience will include a combination of:

- Experience in carbon accounting (ISO 14064 and/or GHG Protocol), emissions reduction strategies or similar
- Knowledge of embodied emissions carbon assessment approach, such as on infrastructure projects or awareness of key standards including ISC and PAS2080
- Good data management skills, such as strong MS excel proficiency
- Data visualisation such as PowerBI
- Self-direction and critically minded problem solving abilities
- An ability to handle multiple workstreams or projects at the same time

A relevant tertiary qualification across law, business, finance, economics, engineering, statistics, environmental or related disciplines will be an advantage, or alternatively demonstrable experience in a similar role. This role can be Auckland or Wellington based.
