This newly created HR business partner role will see you join during an exciting phase of business growth. Partner with your client group, delivering operational support as well as implementing strategy.

**Great things about this role you should know**
It’s the ideal time to join this business, with a newly appointed GMHR who has exciting plans for HR. You be part of rolling out a new people strategy and add plenty of value to your client group. And you’ll be reporting to a great coach and mentor, who plays to people’s strengths and will support you to thrive in your role.

**Here’s what you’ll be involved in**
Reporting to the GMHR and as part of a small people team at the Ellerslie head office, this HRBP role covers the full HR generalist remit. You’ll partner with your client groups, get out on site, and spend time coaching and helping managers reach great business decisions. Your sites will be based around South Auckland and the Waikato, so you’ll enjoy regularly travelling to different locations.
You’ll also have the chance to build up your union experience and exposure, as you’ll be working with a dynamic leader who has a wealth of IR experience.
While you’ll be supporting the implementation of HR strategy and working on change projects, you’ll also be happy to roll up your sleeves and support HR processes, such as recruitment, and keep information up to date in the HRIS.

**Skills and experience you’ll bring**
You’re an experienced HR generalist who enjoys engaging with industrial and down to earth workforces. A background working through ER cases from end to end will also help you hit the ground running in this role. You have built up your coaching skills in your HR career to date and are ready to grow these further in a new environment. Your strong communication skills and customer centric approach mean you quickly build credibility and trust. And you pride yourself on working hard and achieving great outcomes for the business.
