Are you a results-driven HR professional with experience navigating complex Employee Relations challenges? Restaurant Brands NZ Ltd (KFC, Carl’s Jr., Pizza Hut and Taco Bell) is looking for a talented HR Business Partner to support our fast-paced business.

The Role:
As an HRBP, you will be a trusted partner to Restaurant and Area Managers and provide HR leadership across a range of functions, with a particular focus on tackling complex ER issues. You’ll manage and resolve employee relations matters while ensuring compliance with legislation and best practice, driving a positive and high-performing culture. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact within a large and growing business.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide operational HR support across a large, multi-site operation.
- Advise on complex employee relations issues, ensuring fair and consistent handling.
- Manage grievances, disciplinaries, and performance management processes.
- Coach and mentor line managers in effective HR practices and policies.
- Implement and improve HR policies and procedures across the business.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to drive cultural transformation and improve employee engagement.
- Ensure compliance with employment law and company policies.
- Provide advice and support as required for restructures and change management.
- Deliver training on HR processes, employee relations, and conflict resolution.

About You:

- Proven experience as an HR Business Partner, with a strong background in Employee Relations within a large, fast-paced environment, preferably in a unionised QSR or retail setting.
- In-depth knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
- Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the business.
- Problem-solving mindset, with the ability to manage and resolve complex employee relations issues.
- Experience of working with unions
- Experience with HRIS systems and data-driven HR management.
- Ability to do some evening and weekend work to support the field, as well as being able to travel to NZ locations as required.
