**JOB ROLE**: Business Development
- Regional Partnerships Development

**ROLE PURPOSE**:

- This newly created position will be responsible for nurturing existing institutional partnerships and forging new strategic partnerships with high-level institutions that support reputation, academic collaboration, and GEDU’s Strategic Plan. The role will also focus on building partnerships to sustain cohort-based student recruitment domestically and internationally by identifying and establishing new product offerings that meet market demands the region.
- The RPM position sits within a high-performing team working closely with key senior stakeholders and RPMs from other regions - reporting to the Group MD.
- The RPM will lead and coordinate GEDU’s presence and activity in the region - ensuring GEDU’s product offerings are appropriately positions in the market and by increasing brand presence.
- Importantly, the RPM will be continuously seeking out new opportunities with existing and new partners so that the full suite of GEDU services can be offered within the specific partnership and across the region overall.
- The RPM will also co-ordinate and manage the establishment of new regional campus operations working with teams from across GEDU and its subsidiaries.

**ROLE and RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Works with the GCEO/GMD to establish and implement business growth, expansion and development strategies in the region
- Work closely with the GSEO/GMD to shape and implement institutional partnership and product strategies.
- Undertake analysis and provide advice on proposed domestic and international partnerships, including academic and research alignment with GEDU’s values and strategic objectives.
- Activate partnership recruitment opportunities through close alignment of key internal stakeholders, including domestic, international, and regional managers, and marketing / recruiting teams
- Deliver an annual engagement plan with key partners to ensure positive ongoing relationship management.
- Oversee the administration of institutional partnerships, including business proposals, agreement management, adherence to policies and procedures, promotional needs, and reporting.
- Train and exchange knowledge on partnership requirements with GEDU teams across the entire onboarding and intake lifecycle including support for admissions / visa processes.
- Facilitate, co-ordinate and support establishment of regional campus operations including facilities, technology, processes and assist in the hiring of both operational and academic local staff.

**General**

**ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS**:

- A university degree in a relevant discipline and extensive experience developing and managing strategic partnerships that meet organisational objectives.
- Deep regional and international HE sector knowledge
- Strong relationship management skills and experience negotiating cross-cultural partnerships and agreements.
- Experience developing competitive articulation and advanced standing arrangements, including policy and process oversight.
- Effective market research and analytical skills to identify opportunities for partnerships and relationships aligned with strategic goals.
- Demonstrable staff and initiatives management experience.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate positively across key stakeholders.
- High level of motivation, adaptability, and be a catalyst for maximising growth.
