Kōrero mō te Tūranga - About the Role
The Senior Adviser Grant & Contract Management leads operational delivery of our grants, contracts and registration programmes. Ensure the effective implementation of forest grant programs by delivering activities throughout all stages of the funding lifecycle.
Being able to solve problems, oversee the delivery of planting and partnership grants, build strong relationships with stakeholders and contribute to the team are all key elements to being successful in this role.

Mōu - About You
You'll have a tertiary qualification ideally in resource management, forestry, or a related discipline or equivalent experience. You'll have relevant experience as a fund/investment adviser in the public sector or sound contract management skills or extensive experience as a business adviser in the primary sector.

Mō tō mātou Rōpū - About the Team
The Operational Programme Delivery Directorate supports delivery of our programmes (inflight and emerging) and provides monitoring and reporting to ensure appropriate management and assurance of services.
The Grant and Contract Management team are pragmatic, engaging, and willing to go the extra mile to see delivery of programmes that will leave a positive legacy for New Zealanders. This includes funding programmes such as the One Billion Trees Fund and Hill Country Erosion.
Your colleagues are spread across the motu. Like them, you'll report to the Manager, Grant and Contract Management and help to drive delivery.
