**Description**:
A little bit about the role

The purpose of the Key Account Manager is to retain and grow revenue from DDS IT’s high value customers by developing excellent long term, profitable relationships. The role will build and maintain healthy business relationships and position DDS IT as a trusted partner for managed services, IT projects and general servicing requirements. This involves managing assigned customers, to retain and grow DDS IT’s products and services portfolio through onboarding new business opportunities to meet client’s requirements. A portion of duties include business development activities for driving business growth for NET new logos based of marketing qualified leads, trade show engagements and industry networks.

The Key Account Manager will demonstrate a sound understanding of IT & Cloud environment and maintain a sustained awareness of industry trends, new technologies, practices, and market conditions. Being up to date on current trends will help the Key Account Manager is able to align customer needs with DDS IT’s product & services portfolio to ensure clients success.

**Some Key Responsibilities include**:
Nurture and maintain existing customer relationships to maximize sales and project success.
Conduct regular call-cycles to ensure active portfolio management and exceed customer expectations.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure they understand customer requirements and deliver high-quality service and product enhancements.
Contribute to roadmap decisions that align with customer needs and foster long-term partnerships.
Champion customer support service enhancements to further elevate our service levels.
Proactively handle customer escalations to ensure prompt resolutions and maintain satisfaction.
Develop strategic account plans to optimize business retention and identify new growth opportunities.
Provide quarterly internal product & service revenue forecasts for effective planning.
Create and implement annual customer engagement plans, scheduling regular client calls and visits to enhance customer satisfaction.
Stay abreast of industry trends, customer vertical drivers, and challenges to support opportunity development.
