**About the role**

You will manage customer orders. You will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the entire export process, from order processing to shipment and delivery. Your role will involve collaborating with suppliers, freight forwarders, and international customers to ensure efficient export operations.

You will also be managing and seeking import opportunities, especially from Latin America.

Your attention to detail, compliance with regulations, and excellent communication skills will be essential to the success of our client's international business. Only one position available.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Coordinating end-to-end export process, including Purchase Order processing & invoice checking.
- Collaboration with freight forwarders and carriers to schedule shipments and monitor transportation arrangements.
- Coordinating the receipt and dispatch of international shipments by identifying goods, verifying container contents, and handling CEDO documentation and certification requirements.
- Liaising regularly with customers, suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, warehouse staff, and transport providers to ensure efficient and timely movement of goods across borders.
- Consistently involved in business development opportunities locally and overseas, including some travel.
- Accurately document and manage records of incoming and outgoing goods in accordance with regulatory and organizational requirements.
- Prepare and process customer invoices by calculating applicable storage, handling, and clearance fees.
- Advise customers on customs regulations, including tariff classifications, concessions, and procedures for goods clearance to ensure compliance and smooth logistics operations.

**Skills Required**:

- At least three years’ experience in the export/import industry, or a relevant qualification at Level 4 or higher in foreign trade.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly MS Access and Excel.
- Knowledge of, and previous exposure to, import and export regulations, wholesale, and international shipping documentation.
- Strong time-management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Proactive and solutions-oriented mindset, with a strong aptitude for problem-solving.
- Having AI knowledge or exposure could be an advantage.
- Experience in Latin American markets is an advantage, as the company is looking to grow its business in Latin America and such experience would support trade development and operational readiness.
- Fluency in Spanish or Portuguese is preferred, to facilitate communication with potential partners, suppliers, or authorities in the region.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
