**He pūkenga ōu | Skills and Experience**
- At least 3 years’ HR Generalist experience in an advisory role from investigating, analysing and recommending on the broad range of HR activities such as recruitment, change, remuneration, benefits & wellbeing, training & development, and employment relations.
- The ability to advise and coach managers and business partners in people processes and practices, and able to respond in culturally appropriate ways when working with mana whenua and Māori in general.
- Tech Savvy and a working knowledge of HR software and systems, such as using a document management system combined with excellent record keeping.
- Ability to turn your hand to project work alongside business-as-usual activities.
- Open to sharing experiences, being solutions focused that can build and foster effective relationships with facilitation skills being advantageous.
- Confidence when working in Māori environments is desirable.
- A relevant Tertiary Qualification in Human Resource Management or related field, or equivalent experience.
