We're working with a
leading technology company
that provides mission-critical monitoring and dispatch software.

As they continue to expand globally, they're seeking a
Team Lead
to join their Christchurch team. This role offers the unique opportunity to work on internationally recognised software that genuinely
protects lives and critical infrastructure
.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with
strong full-stack development expertise, leadership experience, and customer-focused problem-solving skills
who wants to build deep technical expertise in specialised software that genuinely makes an impact.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Monthly 1-on-1s with up to 9 direct reports (mostly junior and mid-level developers)
  • Quarterly/bi-annual formal reviews, goal setting, tracking progress
  • Running agile rituals (retros, demos, sprint planning)
  • Managing JIRA boards and work priorities
  • Sizing and estimation work for quotes
  • Being present and accessible to the team
  • Develop market-leading core product using TypeScript, React, React Native, C#, Entity Framework, MS SQL, Azure, AWS
  • Lead major migration projects, particularly moving desktop applications to modern web-based platforms
  • Engage in code reviews and provide mentorship to team members
  • Regular customer interaction (weekly/bi-weekly) to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Integration work with various third-party systems
  • Identify and fix issues across development and production environments

What We're Looking For

  • Strong full-stack development experience (C#/.NET and React/TypeScript highly preferred)
  • Senior-level expertise with ability to coach and mentor others
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Outstanding communication and collaboration skills for customer and team interaction
  • Eligible to work in New Zealand
