**About the role**
- This role can be based in Auckland, Hamilton, Wellington or Christchurch._

We have an exciting opportunity for a Compliance Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in overseeing, improving, and contributing to the compliance of Vector Metering’s services and asset base to develop and maintain systems that ensure compliance is accurately monitored, continuously improved, and clearly reported for both New Zealand and Australia.

Key responsibilities include:

- Work collaboratively with others in the business to support and drive continuous improvement of systems, processes, products, field service activities and metering installations in the field.
- Ensure the Vector Metering business is aware of all metering installation regulatory, legal and compliance requirements, including changes and developments ahead of implementation.
- Act as the key point of contact with all regulatory bodies.
- Deliver practical and technical expertise across the Vector Metering team.
- Proactively promote the need for continued compliance of Vector Metering assets in all processes and requirements both internally and externally.

**Who we are looking for**

To be successful in this role, you will have a relevant degree/ professional qualification with previous proven experience in managing quality systems, compliance, auditing and reporting within a challenging environment. Additionally, you will need to demonstrate the ability to work closely with regulatory bodies and government agencies.

Your communication, relationship building and influencing skills will be exceptional with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels, with all stakeholders. You will have a continuous improvement and problem-solving mindset with the ability to drive business change. We need someone who is adaptable, has good time management, enjoys responsibility, and make things happen.
