CMW is a trans-Tasman Geotechnical Consultancy with 10 offices and over 200 employees throughout Australia and New Zealand. Our projects cover construction and civil engineering from larger long-term national roading projects to smaller residential developments.

CMW has maintained year on year growth since establishing in 2012 and the Tauranga office is looking to bring in a Project Management Assistant (PMA) and Lab Administrator to assist the busy project managers and field staff.

The Tauranga office is an established team of 25-30 (depending on the time of the year) who invest heavily in building a connected and supportive team. There’s a weekly morning tea roster, a bowls team, social committee, tea committee, flexible working, and plenty of social gatherings. As well as belonging to a close Tauranga team, you’ll have the support and backing of a larger international company - all invested in the same goal of fostering an energised workforce that delivers exceptional geotechnical advice.

**Responsibilities**
- Primary role is to support and undertake activities related to the delivery of projects including.
- Laboratory administration, data entry, management and document control on behalf of engineers.
- Format documents, including Word, Excel, Power Point, PDF.
- Photocopying, scanning and binding on behalf of engineers.
- Assist the Geotechnical Team with sub-contractor coordination, management including tracking PO’s on behalf of the PM’s;
- Tracking of project deliverables against schedules.
- Assist with the completion of project related quality documentation.
- Assist and support the Office Manager & team leaders in relation to quality and health and safety documentation.
- Assist the Office Manager & HSE Rep with HSE auditing; and
- Co-ordination of office events and meetings
- Minute taking for the Office Manager and Project Managers
- Any other reasonable tasks as directed by the Office Manager

**Qualification/Experience**

No formal qualifications are needed for this role; however, a strong knowledge of MS Office is required.

Experience or interest in Geotechnical Engineering is advantageous.
