Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role
The Senior Advisor in this role initiates and leads significant projects and coordinates responses to issues ensuring that they are resolved, so you will be comfortable in a reactive, busy, and responsive environment, working with lots of hot and emerging topics/issues across Toitū Te Whenua. You will be engaging with a wide range of stakeholders, and you'll be familiar with assessing risk as you go and getting into action

- Experience in taking a leadership role in planning activities and ensuring they are completed in a timely, easily understood way and following through to ensure we implement and monitor our performance in line with LINZ's outcome framework.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail.
- Proven experience in proactively identifying and maintaining effective relationships with key stakeholders.
- Demonstrated effective communication and information flows with key stakeholders, and centralised corporate functions, ensuring that the right people know what is going on.
- An understanding of the machinery of Government and supporting interactions with the Minister's Office at a Senior level.
