We have two exciting opportunities for a Senior Advisor and Advisor to join the Curriculum Design & Delivery team within Te Kura Kaiwhakawā (Te Kura). Te Kura provides ongoing education and legal resources to support the judiciary of Aotearoa New Zealand.
The Curriculum Design & Delivery team plays a significant role in the development and delivery of judicial education and professional development initiatives. The Senior Advisor and Advisor support the Deputy Director, Curriculum Design & Delivery to ensure the curriculum needs of all judges are met. The Senior Advisor will lead some programme development. Both the Senior Advisor and Advisor roles have a strong focus on effective and professional delivery, and supporting those judges and experts who are involved with each programme.
You will be joining an organisation that is committed to upholding the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi. One of the two roles will have a particular focus on deepening judicial capability in te ao, te reo and tikanga Māori, by supporting our expanding programme offerings in these important areas.

He pūkenga tou/Skills and Experience

**To be successful in either position, you will**:

- Have a sound tertiary qualification in law
- Be admitted in New Zealand as a barrister and solicitor, or eligible to be admitted
- Be a proven communicator across a wide range of audiences
- Have a working knowledge of New Zealand justice system and/or machinery of Government
- Have project management and problem-solving skills, and an ability to work with multiple stakeholders
- Bring an understanding of te ao, te reo and tikanga Māori, and a personal commitment to developing knowledge of, and in, these areas
- Show initiative, resilience, and a commitment to working collaboratively in a small team

The Senior Advisor will ideally have an honours degree, and at least 3-4 years' post-graduation experience.

Utu ā-tau/Salary
Advisor - The appointing salary for this role will be between $66,518 and $86,865 based on skills and experience.
Senior Advisor - The appointing salary for this role will be between $90,377 and $118,022 based on skills and experience.
