We are looking for a Senior Advisor to join our Legal Aid Providers team based at the Ministry's National Office in Wellington. This team plays a vital role in supporting access to justice by maintaining the quality assurance framework for legal aid lawyers across Aotearoa.

The team leads the management and administration of provider approvals and contracts, and is responsible for monitoring and auditing the delivery of legal aid services. Working closely with colleagues across the wider Legal Aid Services business unit, we play a vital role in supporting people who are using or navigating the justice system.

**Ō** pūkenga/Skills and Experience**

We are looking for someone who is customer-focussed and able to relate to a wide range of people at all levels. To be successful in this role, you will have:

- proven experience working at a Senior Advisor level or equivalent
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
- a collaborative and team-focused attitude, with a desire to learn and support others
- experience supporting teams to manage competing priorities
- strong time management and prioritisation abilities
- relationship management experience, particularly in stakeholder engagement
- cultural awareness with an understanding of and respect for diverse cultures, values, and perspectives.
- relevant qualifications, skills, or equivalent knowledge in public sector service delivery or legal environments would be highly advantageous.

The appointing salary for this role will be between $98,208 to $126,683 based on skills and experience.
