Senior Advisor, Operations Support, National Service Delivery

The National Service Delivery unit (NSD) provides a range of justice services to customers around New Zealand that assist with administering the court system.

**These services include**:

- Administering legal aid for those who can't afford a lawyer
- Collecting court ordered fines and reparation
- Transcribing activities in the courts
- Judicial library support
- Providing a centralised customer call and processing service.

We have an opportunity for a highly motivated experienced Senior Advisor who thrives in an environment of continuous improvement that delivers quality access to Justice.

Te whiwhinga mahi/The Opportunity
As a Senior Advisor you will lead and contribute to projects and be able to develop, enhance and influence the capability of others. The successful applicant will be transformational in their thinking, understand and interpret information to drive successful outcomes for our business and our communities.
The role requires a high level of verbal and written communication with great interpersonal skills. The successful applicant will have opportunities to demonstrate and develop project management, workshop facilitation, procurement and change management skills.

**Ideally, the skills and experience we are looking for include**:

- Effective project management experience, including the ability to define a business problem and plan and deliver an effective solution
- Excellent stakeholder management skills - able to prioritize requests across functions, challenge stakeholder's thinking confidently and collaboratively, and build close relationships
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and proficiency in qualitative and quantitative analysis
- Experience providing service improvement advice in complex customer centred organisation
- An understanding and appreciation of cross-cultural issues and concerns, knowledge of tikanga Māori, and Pacific peoples' culture.

Utu ā-tau/Salary

**Salary Range**: The appointing salary for this role will be between $90,377 and $127,591 based on skills and experience.
