Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Charge Nurse Manager to lead our ED Nursing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a senior nurse to take on a leadership role and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care in one of the busiest Emergency Departments in New Zealand.

The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting excellence in best practice and safe patient care, supporting the development of the ED Nursing team, and contributing to the department's goal of delivering best patient outcomes.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • New Zealand Nursing Registration
  • Current Annual Practicing Certificate
  • Minimum 7 years recent and relevant experience
  • Acute paediatric experience preferred
  • Masters' qualification or currently working towards it
  • Demonstrated expertise in setting standards and managing excellence in practice
  • Ability to provide coaching and mentoring
  • Proven leadership and staff management experience
