Key Responsibilities:- Prospect research: Identify potential trusts and foundations aligned with Mercy Hospice's mission and strategic objectives.
- Proposal writing and submission: Develop and submit high-quality grant proposals tailored to each funder's priorities and guidelines.
- Donor stewardship: Cultivate and maintain relationships with trust and foundation representatives, ensuring effective communication and stewardship.
- Grant management: Monitor and manage grants, tracking funds, compliance, and accountability reports.
- Collaboration: Work closely with staff from other departments to gather information and support grant proposals.
- Minimum 3+ years' experience in fundraising, grant management, or a related field.
- Excellent relationship-building skills and ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with experience in grant management software or CRM systems.
- Familiarity with budgeting and financial reporting in the context of grant management.
This role requires a highly organized individual with excellent time management skills, able to meet deadlines and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
