Charity Fundraising Manager

Mercy Hospice is an industry leader in providing compassionate end-of-life support, delivering specialist palliative care for over 40 years. Our mission is to provide exceptional care to those in need, and we rely on the generosity of our community to continue this vital work.
We are seeking a dynamic Philanthropy Manager to join our fundraising team, responsible for developing and executing strategies to engage and grow our major supporters. This role will play a pivotal part in shaping and driving major gift fundraising efforts that directly impact our patients and their families.
The successful candidate will have experience with building and nurturing strong relationships, as well as a proven track record in major gift fundraising, planned giving, or account management/sales. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, with the ability to craft persuasive proposals and build meaningful relationships with our supporters.
- Develop and implement a high performing, sustainable major supporter programme.
- Develop and implement a strategy to strengthen Mercy Hospice's financial sustainability by increasing revenue and donor retention.
