We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Philanthropy Manager to join our fundraising team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop and implement strategies to engage and grow our major supporters, ultimately contributing to the financial sustainability of Mercy Hospice.

The successful candidate will be responsible for building and nurturing strong relationships with our supporters, identifying new opportunities for growth and development, and implementing effective strategies to increase revenue and donor retention.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive major gifts programme.
  • Identify and cultivate new opportunities for growth and development.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with our supporters.
  • Implement Mercy Hospice's Gifts in Wills strategy.
Skills You'll Bring to the Role:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, social sciences, communications and/or marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience with major gift fundraising, planned giving or account management/sales.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft persuasive proposals and build meaningful relationships.
  • Experience in fundraising software and CRM systems.
