About the Team/Service

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator will be working closely with the Interventional Radiology team and wider Interventional teams within the hospital and district. The successful candidate will form close relationships with the Unit Charge of Intervention, the lead Interventional Radiologist, and key Radiology administration staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Collating, triaging, organising and booking of interventional radiology procedures
  • Developing close relationships with clinicians/surgeons from Radiology and Vascular teams
  • Working in a wide role with the Charge Nurse Manager, IRU service leader, and nursing teams

About You

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and qualifications:

  • Registration with Nursing Council of New Zealand (NCNZ)
  • Minimum of 3 years post registration experience
  • Ability to work effectively in a busy and dynamic environment
  • Strong negotiation and networking skills
