About the Team

Our People Experience team is a dynamic group of experts who are dedicated to reimagining new ways of working and enabling all MYOBelievers to help more businesses in Australia and New Zealand reach their potential. As an Employee Relations Manager, you will be part of this team and play a critical role in driving employee-related initiatives and providing comprehensive HR support to our tech and line of business teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advising and coaching people leaders on employee relations issues, providing guidance on policy interpretation and compliance with local laws and legislation;
  • Providing strategic HR support and guidance on various initiatives for individual lines of business, including organisational restructuring, workforce planning, and talent management;
  • Serving as a main point of contact for employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures;
  • Conducting detailed investigations into employee grievances or concerns, ensuring fair and impartial outcomes;
  • Collaborating with the broader People Experience team to develop and implement People strategies aligned with MYOB's goals and encouraging a positive culture within MYOB;
  • Analysing key People metrics and data to identify trends and areas for improvement, providing insights to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.

The skills you will need:

  1. Solid understanding of current Australian and New Zealand employment legislation;
  2. Demonstrable experience in HR/People Experience, with a focus on employee relations and business partnership;
  3. Excellent understanding of organisational development principles, L&D and talent processes;
  4. Proven experience working in a senior People advisory capacity;
  5. Experience implementing and delivering on key HR/PX projects and programmes;
  6. Experience with HR and Talent Management software, reporting and analytics.
