About Our Team
As an Industrial Excellence Trainer, you will play a key role in driving a strong safety culture, enhancing training programs, and ensuring compliance across our Hamilton site. This is a great opportunity to join a collaborative and supportive work environment where you can make a real difference.
Responsibilities:
- Lead safety initiatives and support our Zero Harm goals.
- Develop and improve OH&S and EH&S systems, policies, and risk assessments.
- Monitor incident trends, conduct root cause analyses, and implement solutions.
- Deliver and coordinate critical safety, operational, and compliance training for employees.
Requirements:
- A strong commitment to workplace safety – Safety is at the core of everything we do.
- 5+ years of experience in a comparable industry or similar role.
- Exceptional communication & leadership skills – The ability to engage, train, and motivate teams at all levels.
- A hands-on, problem-solving mindset – Someone who takes initiative and finds practical solutions.
- Experience in safety compliance & training – Knowledge of EH&S regulations, risk assessments, and training programs.
- The ability to drive cultural change – Encouraging compliance, continuous learning, and a positive safety culture.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills – To develop reports, policies, and training materials.
