Job Summary
We are seeking a part-time Family Support Coordinator in Hamilton to facilitate the journey of our clients toward a valued life of their choosing. The successful candidate will engage with the family in a hands-on capacity, collaborate closely with them, and tailor supports to meet their unique needs and goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Invest in creating a supportive environment that focuses on the family's aspirations and independence rather than waiting for a crisis to arise.
- Support children or young adults to access education and develop new skills.
- Observe and respond to health concerns or support the overall health and wellbeing of the young person.
- Tailor supports to the family's unique needs and goals, adopting a holistic approach that encompasses all aspects of their life.
- Provide simple, flexible supports that the family can readily use to enhance their life.

Requirements
- A passion for helping others, kindness, and understanding.
- A desire to support our clients to learn new skills and achieve outcomes.
- Previous experience working with young people.
- A full driver's license and owning your own vehicle.
