About the Role

As the Senior Events and Fundraising Manager, you will play a pivotal role in taking KidsCan's fundraising activity to new heights. This position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on children's lives by driving fundraising initiatives and events.

This is a leadership role that requires proven success in leading and managing the delivery of quality events. Your strong leadership skills have been honed through managing cross-functional project teams, and you are adept at building relationships, negotiating effectively, and thinking strategically.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work with the Head of Partnerships, Fundraising and Individual Giving and Senior Community Fundraising Manager on developing the annual fundraising and events plan in line with long-term strategic objectives.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the Events and Fundraising team (two direct reports).
  • Manage the entire lifecycle for events – from strategy, planning, execution to evaluation.
  • Optimise existing fundraising events and campaigns to ensure maximum return.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with fundraising and event partners.
  • Manage income and expenditure budgets for fundraising activity.
