The Role

As a Water Meter Specialist, you will be responsible for providing planned and reactive water meter reading services throughout the district. This role involves installing and repairing water meters as well as installing water backflow prevention devices.

  1. Provide quality customer service
  2. Lead and mentor the water meter team
  3. Demonstrate accountability and commitment to the development of the team
  4. Ensure workplace health and safety

About You

We are looking for someone with hands-on experience in reading, maintaining, and installing water meters.

  1. Ideal candidate has 5 years of practical experience
  2. NZ Certificate in Infrastructure Works (Pipeline construction and Maintenance) or NZ Certificate in Pipeline Construction & Maintenance
  3. Full NZ driver's license & Class 2 License
