About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Duty Manager to join our team at NOODLE WAY LIMITED. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our restaurant.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with our chefs to design, plan, and regularly update menus, including determining pricing strategies.
  • Work closely with our chefs to coordinate special orders, events, and functions.
  • Oversee procurement and pricing of supplies, ensuring strict adherence to budget constraints.
  • Maintain detailed inventory records, managing stock and placing orders with suppliers while implementing the First-In-First-Out (FIFO) policy.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining cleanliness and operational efficiency in dining areas.
  • Engage with customers to assess their satisfaction with both meals and service.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise both waitstaff and kitchen personnel.
  • Create staff schedules, manage rosters, and track attendance.
  • Handle reservations, greet guests, and assist with order-taking as required.

About You:

We are looking for someone with good character and a minimum of three years of work experience in the industry or a NZQF diploma. As a Chinese cuisine restaurant, we prefer to be bilingual in Mandarin and English.
