Job Description:

The Manawatu Rugby Union is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to fill the role of Community Rugby Manager. This position is responsible for leading and developing our Community Rugby team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality programs and services that meet the needs of our members and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with regional stakeholders to identify opportunities for growth and development in community rugby
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase participation and engagement in community rugby programs
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the Community Rugby team, ensuring effective program delivery and stakeholder satisfaction
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on program activity and performance
  • Collaborate with other departments within the Manawatu Rugby Union to achieve shared goals and objectives

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in sports management or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software quickly
