About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager to join our Enterprise Platforms team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing enterprise IT systems, including experience with Slack, Google Workspace, Miro, and Zoom. As a seasoned product manager, you will be responsible for creating and delivering innovative solutions that drive business outcomes and improve employee experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the development of our end-to-end Enterprise Technology and Customer/People Systems strategies, vision, and direction.
  • Build and maintain a forward-looking 18-month roadmap for your products/solutions, incorporating industry direction, technical direction, and business owner/stakeholder needs and outcomes.
  • Research and identify opportunities for improvement, consolidation, product market gap closure, and/or in-business approach that demonstrates a return on investment.
  • Present these opportunities to relevant Xero business and technology groups.
  • Define, measure, and track key deliverables and operational metrics for your products, how they are delivering value to Xero, and improving over time.
  • Work with key vendors and suppliers to extract maximum value from our investments in these solutions and leverage their industry knowledge and experience.
  • Balance focus across operational cadence and fixes versus new capability and initiative investment to ensure solutions remain secure, robust, and highly available.
  • Own budget planning and forecasting for your area, working closely with the Finance team and GM to ensure financial performance meets expectations.
  • Lead, coach, and mentor your direct team to create a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Experience managing Enterprise IT systems, including Slack, Google Workspace, Miro, and Zoom or equivalent.
  • Proven track record as a Product Manager in a software development/SaaS environment.
  • Experience leading a team of delivery and technical professionals, both directly and indirectly.
  • Advanced understanding of delivery methodologies (agile, waterfall, kanban, etc.).
  • Demonstrated experience in supplier and commercial management.
  • Working knowledge/experience in marketing, sales, service, billing, people, and/or finance industries.
