The Raahui Pookeka and North Waikato community is facing unique challenges, with high levels of mental health and addiction issues. This presents a tremendous opportunity for a skilled Clinical Mental Health Specialist to make a meaningful impact.
As a member of our team, you will work closely with local stakeholders to develop and deliver targeted interventions that address the specific needs of this community.
Your Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years experience working with high need individuals and/or whanau experiencing significant mental health and addiction problems.
- Competency with Te ao Maaori, tikanga and te reo Maori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth.
- Experience in upholding Te Tiriti principals and frameworks and the application of Maatauranga Maori and Kaupapa Maori approaches.
