Overview

The Biologics and Phone Triage Coordinator role is responsible for overseeing all clinic biologics and phone triage functions. This position involves initiating and facilitating the prior authorization process for biologic medications, ensuring proper documentation is submitted to insurance companies for approval, and coordinating the timely delivery of prescribed treatments to patients.

This coordinator will work closely with physicians and pharmaceutical representatives to stay informed on the latest treatment protocols and drug information. The coordinator will manage all calls routed to the Nurse Line and promptly respond to faxes in the Nurse inbox.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of biologic medication authorization, including initiating prior authorizations and ensuring necessary paperwork is submitted to insurance providers.
  • Collaborate with physicians and pharmaceutical representatives to remain updated on treatment plans and drug protocols.
  • Oversee and respond to phone calls directed to the Nurse Line in a timely and professional manner.
  • Process and respond to faxes received in the Nurse inbox, ensuring prompt attention and resolution.

Work Schedule: Full-time: 40 hours per week Monday - Thursday: 9:30 AM - 5:00 PM Friday: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
