National Business Manager

In this pivotal role as National Business Manager, you will spearhead the New Zealand protein snacking market by developing and executing strategic plans to drive growth and category leadership. Reporting directly to the Sales Director ANZ, you will work closely with major retail partners, sales and distribution teams, and internal stakeholders to achieve business objectives.

As a key member of our team, you will be part of a dynamic and cohesive cross-functional team based in Auckland, working closely with our manufacturing facility at Māngere.
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced National Business Manager with a strong background in FMCG industry, preferably in National Account Management or National Business Management roles. Key responsibilities include:
- Category Captaincy: Utilize convincing category and consumer insights to provide meaningful growth within the category.
- Relationship Management: Develop strong partnerships with major Retail and distribution partners within New Zealand through trust building and delivery of meaningful outcomes.
- P&L Management: Take full ownership of budgeted revenue delivery, trade investments, and forecasting while delivering market share objectives.
- Innovation Leadership: Champion customer marketing and product innovation within Jack Link's New Zealand, ensuring best-in-class product launches.
- Strategic Planning: Build and execute a three-year strategic plan using strong industry, category, and commercial analysis.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will possess a Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, or a related discipline. Essential skills and qualifications include:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products.
- Strong analytical skills with a high attention to detail.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Capacity to build relationships and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally.
Salary and Benefits
The salary for this position is estimated to be around $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, commensurate with experience. Additional benefits may include medical test, criminal convictions check, and other employment requirements as stated in the job description.
