About the Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Public Health Compliance Officer for the Auckland region. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that businesses comply with licensing and compliance regulations, promoting public health outcomes and reducing harm associated with alcohol consumption.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct inspections and audits to ensure compliance with regulations
  • Investigate complaints and breaches of licensing regulations
  • Provide education and support to businesses on licensing and compliance requirements
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve shared goals

Requirements

  • Degree in a relevant field such as law, public health, or business
  • Proven experience in compliance and enforcement roles
  • Strong knowledge of licensing and compliance regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
