About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Team Lead to join our Alcohol Licensing team at Auckland Council. In this role, you will be responsible for providing oversight and guidance to a team of professionals, ensuring that all licensing-related activities are carried out efficiently and effectively.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective strategies to improve public health outcomes through licensing regulation;
  • Lead a team of investigators and analysts in conducting reviews and investigations related to licensing applications;
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices;
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on licensing matters to internal and external stakeholders.
