About the Role
">As a Senior Human Resource Advisor at Waitemata, you will be providing best practice human resource advice and expertise to management and staff. You will work as a business partner responsible for your own service portfolio alongside a Human Resource Manager, providing support in relation to the interpretation and application of human resource policies and practice, legislation and advice on a range of employment matters.
About You
">You must be able to prioritise your workload, be pragmatic and adept at problem-solving. Key to your success will be your ability to build strong relationships through mana-enhancing communication. You will also have excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong analytical capability, and attention to detail. Additionally, you will have experience in change management and managing performance, with the ability to provide proactive and positive solutions to the business in a timely manner.
Requirements
">To be successful in this role, you will require a tertiary qualification in human resources, psychology or business, with a minimum of 3 years' experience in HR business partnering. Experience in a unionised environment would be an advantage. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a team that performs a vital function for the District and makes an important contribution to Waitemata's commitment to deliver the best care for our community.
