Position: Chief Human Resource Manager
Location: Auckland
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic HR Management: Develop, implement, and evaluate human resource strategies, policies, and plans aligned with business objectives.
  2. Talent Acquisition & Development: Oversee recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes to attract and retain top talent. Implement training and development programs to enhance employee skills and career growth.
  3. Performance Management: Develop and implement performance appraisal systems to monitor, assess, and improve individual and team performance.
  4. Employee Relations & Compliance: Provide guidance on workplace policies, employment laws, and best HR practices. Mediate conflicts and ensure fair employee treatment.
  5. Compensation & Benefits: Develop and manage competitive salary structures, benefits programs, and incentive plans.
  6. Health, Safety, & Well-being: Implement and oversee occupational health and safety programs, ensuring a safe and inclusive work environment.
  7. Industrial Relations: Represent the company in negotiations with unions and employees to determine remuneration and other employment conditions.
  8. Workplace Policies & Legal Compliance: Ensure adherence to equal employment opportunity regulations, redundancy policies, and statutory HR requirements.
  9. Cost & Productivity Monitoring: Track employment costs and workforce productivity, optimizing HR operations for efficiency.
  10. Managerial Training & Support: Train and advise managers on personnel matters and workplace relations.

Qualifications & Experience:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience:
Candidates with a relevant degree must have at least three years of experience in a senior HR role.
Candidates without a related degree must have at least five years of proven experience in human resources management.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and compliance requirements.
Experience in talent acquisition, employee engagement, and performance management.
Ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization.
