About the Opportunity
This is a fantastic opportunity for a nurse leader to make a real difference in the lives of people in New Zealand. As a Nurse Leader, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of Toi Ora Systems of Care and contributing to improving health outcomes for Maori.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing advanced professional leadership and management to the nursing workforce in Mental Health and Addiction Services
  • Working in partnership with the Business Leader, Clinical Director, and Chief Nursing Officer to lead clinical excellence through evidence-based nursing practice
  • Leading and promoting continuous quality improvement

About You
To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Significant experience in Maori health delivery and implementation of Te Tiriti o Waitangi
  • Significant experience in nursing leadership
  • Personal resilience in times of system-wide change
  • Strong negotiating skills to engage collaboratively with internal and external partners across the sector
