Disability Support Services Coordinator

Job Description:
The Disability Support Services Coordinator will be responsible for delivering a person-centered service using a strength-based approach to create a positive learning experience and reduce barriers for diverse learners. This role requires expertise in disability support services, including working with learners with disabilities, neurodiverse needs, and mental health conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance and advice to learners on available support and resources, ensuring they feel supported from the start.
- Foster an inclusive environment that promotes equality and fairness for all learners.
- Work closely with learners, staff, and external stakeholders to create a barrier-free environment.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a coordination or administrative role, preferably within the health and disability or education sectors.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with learners, staff, and external stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and adapt quickly to changing situations.
- Highly proficient attention to detail and ability to remain calm under pressure.
