Our anaesthetic department has over 70 consultant anaesthetists and 30 doctors in training, comprising of SHOs, registrars, and fellows.

About the Role

This fellowship opportunity is available in the areas of regional, cardiac, obstetric anaesthesia, simulation, and research. We also have experience and opportunities to create a fellowship tailored to your needs by negotiation.

The position is accredited with ANZCA for the PF year. It is a full-time (50 hours per week), 12-month fixed-term position with duties split between the candidate's specialty interest area, other daytime elective, and acute lists, as well as rostered non-clinical time.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Registered with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
  2. Completed ANZCA advanced training or equivalent (e.g., ST6/7 or with CCT if from the U.K.).
  3. No rostered night shifts or weekend shifts.
