Job Description
We are seeking an exceptional Anaesthesia Specialist to join our team at Waikato Hospital. As a Senior Anaesthetist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality Anaesthesia services to patients in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Waikato Hospital is a major regional hospital located in Hamilton, New Zealand. We pride ourselves on our commitment to delivering excellent patient care and being a centre of anaesthetic excellence in New Zealand.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide Anaesthetic services for elective and emergency patients
* Participate in an on-call roster
* Model a high degree of professionalism in day-to-day work
* Contribute actively and positively towards excellence in teamwork, clinical care, teaching, and research

Requirements
* Fellowship of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (preferred) or equivalent
* Eligible for Vocational Registration as a Specialist Anaesthetist with the Medical Council of New Zealand
* Recent clinical experience in Anaesthesia comparable to contemporary Australasian practice
* Competence in providing Anaesthetic services for healthy children > 24 months
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Ability to work effectively and constructively as part of a multidisciplinary team
