Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Anaesthesia Specialist to join our team at Waikato Hospital. As a Specialist Anaesthetist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive Anaesthesia services to patients in both Waikato and Thames Hospitals.

About the Team
Our anaesthesia team at Waikato Hospital is known for its strong track record in teaching, continuing medical education, and research. We are a cohesive team that values collaboration and mutual respect.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide Anaesthetic services for elective and emergency patients
* Participate in an on-call roster
* Model a high degree of professionalism in day-to-day work
* Contribute actively and positively towards excellence in teamwork, clinical care, teaching, and research

Requirements
* Fellowship of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (preferred) or equivalent
* Eligible for Vocational Registration as a Specialist Anaesthetist with the Medical Council of New Zealand
* Recent clinical experience in Anaesthesia comparable to contemporary Australasian practice
* Competence in providing Anaesthetic services for healthy children > 24 months
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Ability to work effectively and constructively as part of a multidisciplinary team
