Strategic Program Director for Community Impact

The Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation is seeking a visionary leader to serve as the Chief Program Officer, overseeing and driving the strategic direction and implementation of programs focused on education, health care, homelessness, and social justice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive vision and strategy for program function aligning with the foundation's overall organizational strategy.
  • Lead and build the capacity of the Programs department by establishing clear expectations and priorities.
  • Manage major projects with new and existing partners, working closely with those organizations' leadership.
  • Evaluate and report program goals, metrics, and performance indicators to ensure effective monitoring and evaluation.
Requirements

A minimum of 10 years' experience in program management or leadership roles within the nonprofit sector, with a focus on community impact. Demonstrated experience managing a complex program function that includes grantmaking, partnerships, and direct program delivery.

Experience navigating the Los Angeles philanthropic and nonprofit community, including relationships with donors, partners, sponsors, and/or beneficiary nonprofit organizations.

Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Ability to work a non-traditional schedule, which includes nights, weekends, and some home games (March – October).

The estimated salary range for this position is $175,000 – $195,000 per year.
