Job Summary:
This role involves effective management and coordination of correctional portfolio services in partnership with the Department of Corrections.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure delivery of quality services, reintegration plans, and support within contractual obligations.
- Buid and maintain an engaged, cohesive team across services.
- Actively manage services to grow market share while retaining current contracts.
- Develop strong relationships with external stakeholders, including the Department of Corrections and Parole Services.
- Build relationships with clients, their families/whanau, and support people through rehabilitation journeys.
- Balance funding contract management to meet customer needs and financial requirements.
- Evaluate new referrals and participate in panel assessments with internal and external partners.
- Provide on-call support and supervision to the team.
Requirements:
- 3-5+ years' experience in a service delivery or operations role, preferably in the community services sector.
- Previous leadership experience with a passion for collaborative work and developing skills in others.
- Financial and budget management experience.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills, along with high emotional intelligence.
- An understanding of the principles of the Treaty of Waitangi and how they can be applied.
- The ability to stay safe when dealing with complex cases, implement coping strategies, and seek support when necessary.
What We Offer:
A competitive salary of $NZ 90,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits such as Kiwi Saver, phone, laptop, vehicle, fuel credit card, EAP support, flexible working hours, and a respectful culture that promotes career development opportunities.
