Job Title: Community Support Worker

At Healthvision NZ Ltd, we are seeking a skilled and compassionate Community Support Worker to join our team. As a Community Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients with personal care, home help, shopping, and meal preparation
  • Support clients in accessing the community and participating in exercise programs
  • Use hoists and manual transfers to support clients with mobility needs
  • Work collaboratively with clients, families, and whanau to achieve their goals and maximize independence
Work Arrangements:

This is a permanent or part-time role, with a minimum of 30 hours per week. You will be required to work a rotating roster, including days, evenings, and weekends. Your preferred hours of work can be discussed during the recruitment process.

Requirements:
  • Experience in personal care is essential
  • Experience in complex cares (bowel and SPC cares) and challenging behaviors is preferred
  • A Level 3 or Level 4 qualification in Health and Wellbeing is an advantage, but not essential
  • Access to your own car and a full driver's license is required
  • Flexibility to work on a roster, including weekends
  • Great communication skills
  • Legal rights to work in New Zealand
